Super delicious food at fair prices with a wonderful view over the dike to the Elbe / North Sea. Since the elevator was broken, the waiter helped us, without complaining, to carry the stroller up the stairs and later down again. The ambience of the restaurant is very nice and the dessert was world class.

Anyone visiting Cuxhaven and not stopping at the lakeside terraces to eat fish is making two huge mistakes! On the one hand he would miss the great service that we were allowed to enjoy, on the other hand the very, very tasty and fresh fish that is served here in numerous variations. My wife tried (as a barely fish eater!) After patient and friendly advice from the very competent waitress, the redfish with a light pepper sauce and rice. Result: never experienced a more positive taste explosion; Inspired by this, she even tried my plate, the noble fish platter !!! A new fish lover is born. Speaking of fine fish platter: a fish dream with fried potatoes on fried onions and a salad variation with crunchy, red onion rings. Only with the sauces you could add 2 including the price top of the menu. We rounded it off with Alsterwasser (in Baden they are called 'Radler') and a nice Jever. Also goes well with fish. By the way, from our table, which the nice lady assigned us, we could enjoy the view of the sea, the North Sea, which is currently in ebb. Clear 5 stars! We'll come again, now I want to try the fresh plaice!

Highly recommended but there is a small deduction. The food tastes very good, is nicely prepared and of decent quality. The prices are reasonable and customary for the location. The restaurant is very well-kept, with the most beautiful view of the ships coming and going. I would give a half star deduction for the not always attentive staff. I sat a little apart and had to wait longer for someone to respond to me. Ultimately, however, everything is still within the framework. So a very clear recommendation!

We saw the lakeside terraces in passing and made reservations quickly in the evening. The decor is very modern and tasteful, you can sit comfortably and at the window you really have a very nice view of / over the dike. Since we arrived shortly before the end of the kitchen hours, we could unfortunately no longer have a starter. Here one or the other would certainly deduct points, but it was our own fault that we were so late. There was nothing to complain about about the food, the dishes were all very tasty and tasty. I had a loach fillet that was really very tender.

No information on allergens or ingredients. We wanted to enjoy coffee and cake with the great view. The odyssey began with the waiter saying that everything was full. He then offered us a place (in the almost empty restaurant), since the guests would not be arriving for 1.5 hours. But by then we should be out ... Instead of getting a menu at the table, we should choose the cake at the counter. However, they could neither tell us the ingredients, nor was there any information about allergens. The reason was that they had the cakes delivered from outside. (In another coffee that is supplied by the same bakery, we received a detailed list -> Eismeer ice cream parlor) We then decided to just stick with the coffee and were taken to the table. Not at the window with the great view, but in the farthest corner between two fully occupied tables that were definitely not 1.5 meters from ours. As I said, the rest of the restaurant was empty. A no-go, especially in Corona times. But also in general we felt unwelcome and then decided to leave. We will definitely not be back.

Every year we were also in the lake terraces. This year the restaurant only got 3 stars. First of all, we would be asked how long we would be staying, very impolite. After all, everything is reserved. After 6 p.m. there are no more places. We just wanted to have a sundae and not stay for hours. If you come in the afternoon around 3:30 p.m., I find it very rude to ask such a question. The restaurant was only occupied by a few tables, by the way. It is worth considering whether we will visit the restaurant again next year. It's a shame we always had good food and friendly staff.

Meeting with singer friends for "Klönschnack" with coffee and cake. The hygiene rules are very kindly pointed out by the staff. We met once a month before Corona. Selection of cakes at the buffet, different types, coffee in pots on the table. Very friendly service. Until the meeting in September.

We reserved a table for two via email and it was quickly confirmed. The restaurant has a wonderful view of the sea and the horizon (we also sat by the window). The service was attentive and courteous. The portions are very generous, nicely presented and tasty. Gladly again.

Upscale cuisine that keeps what it promises! Pleasant ambience with a good view of the water. Very courteous, friendly and very good-humored (in a pleasant manner) staff. The individual dishes, whether meat or fish, were perfectly prepared to the point. Conclusion: Very good restaurant with, in our opinion, very good staff. The kitchen is just as good or even better and at a low price. Everything about perfect! Thank you for the lovely evening!

Good view, delicious food and the service we had was very cool and nice. You should try the storm sack - an oversized cream puff. The fish platter for 2 was also really good. Top was my son's fillet of beef. He'll probably still dream of that. Reservations recommended.

Been there for a wedding. They had really nice staff and when somebody had a food allergy or didn't like some of the food that was supposed to be served, the staff imediately tryed to find something better to eat for them.

The place is cozy. However, it is pricy, the service was fast being fast, while stuff was not too friendly and spoke very poor English. Food was ok, but not great. I had potato with Nordic shrimps and sour cream. It defiantly contained too much sour cream which over-taking all the taste.

Very good place to have apiece of cake, a lunch, or a dinner! The prices are not too expensive and the food tastes great! The restaurant should not be judged by its outer look, inside it is much more comfortable!
